Alec Baldwin
For anyone who hasn't been watching the riotuously funny 30 Rock, or watched the wicked wrinkly rom-com It's Complicated (in which he co-stars with Meryl Streep), this may come as a small shock to hear that we're handing over our prize accolade to a man who once called his daughter a pig. (He did apologise afterwards).
But. The man is funny, and this isn't the Dad of the year award (*shudders*) it's about being a Dilf, and Baldwin, right now, get's the prize ring through his nose. Here's a comedy-clutch of reasons why this March Alec Baldwin is....the Dilf.
* Everyone remembers the days when calling someone a 'Baldwin' was like saying they were hot, and Alec is the biggest, and baddest of all the Baldwin brothers (dob 1958).
* He's deep. He's played Macbeth. No joke.
* He spent two years (1984-86) co-starring in Knots Landing as a crazed TV evangelist. His role ended only when his character plunged off the top of a building while trying to (psychotically) kill someone else. Yes, this man has really done his time working tirelessly for our mindless pleasure.
* He played Karen Walker's (Will and Grace) secret agent lover Malcolm. Could he have a better pedigree?
* He's in 30 Rock which is the best comedy on TV, like, well...ever. (okay we have mentioned this bit twice, but if you watch it - you'll only be wondering why we didn't go for the hat-trick).
Alec Baldwin is funny, and hot, and co-hosting the oscars this weekend (March 7th 2010) with the silvery (and decidedly less) funny Steve Martin. It's Complicated is still out in cinemas nationwide.
Ps: We love you Liz Lemon.
Ok, I didn't knee-jerk at this one. (Well I did, but I didn't do it at the keyboard)
Instead I behaved in a rational manner and spend 15 minutes on YT trying to understand your argument. These are my conclusions:
1. 30 Rock?! How did I miss this?
2. Alec Baldwin...forever tainted by his brother, Mad-eye
3. I LOVE LIZ LEMON!!!
That is all...(meh)
